1 Corinthians 15:42–53
42 fSo is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. 43 It is sown in dishonor; git is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 Thus it is written,
h“The first man Adam became a living being”;5 ithe last Adam became a jlife-giving spirit. 46 But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. 47 kThe first man was from the earth, la man of dust; mthe second man is from heaven.
48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, nso also are those who are of heaven. 49 Just oas we have borne the image of the man of dust, pwe shall6 also bear the image of the man of heaven.
On many concepts I try to break it down to the lowest common denominator. In my view it comes down this,
- Earthly body. Just us men and women. Saved and born again. Everyone is a Child of God. With free will to accept Christ. But wait, as a woman give birth to a baby. She now has a child. My Mother brought me into the world with a little help from my dad. So we went from an infant all the way up to adulthood. I forget many times my dad say to me. Wait till you have kids. Hmmm getting sidetracked. So mom and dad had me and now I'm all growed up. What I take this as a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. In a sense we are a person having now a glorified body in perfection, in Heaven. A Glorified Body sounds like an upgrade to me.
We must never forget we are all family, let us support all for one and one for all.
